# Copy Trading

> Discover traders, follow addresses, and manage your copy-trading activity from Leap.

Copy trading is a core part of Leap.

Instead of starting from a blank market screen, you can discover traders, compare their performance, follow addresses you want to track, and set up copying from the same section.

## What you can do

* discover traders using Hyperliquid performance data
* compare P\&L, ROI, volume, and account value
* search for a specific wallet address
* follow traders without copying them immediately
* review activity from traders you follow
* manage auto-copy separately

## The important distinction

**Following** and **copying** are not the same thing.

Following an address gives you a way to track that trader.

Auto-copy is the step that allows your account to mirror eligible trading activity according to the limits and settings you choose.

That separation is intentional: you can research first and automate later.
