# Trading

> Learn how to place, manage, and close trades in Leap's Simple and Pro interfaces.

Leap gives you two trading interfaces for the same account.

**Simple** is built for clarity. **Pro** is built for control.

Both lead to the same core decision: choose a market, choose your direction, decide how much risk you want to take, review the order, and submit it.

## Use Simple when

* you want to place a trade without a full terminal
* you mainly need direction, amount, leverage, and basic order settings
* you prefer a cleaner chart and fewer controls on screen

## Use Pro when

* you want candlestick charts and drawing tools
* you use the order book and recent trades
* you want market, limit, or conditional orders
* you actively manage margin, leverage, slippage, reduce-only orders, or TP/SL
* you want funding, mark price, oracle price, open interest, and other market data visible
